Regional & Local SeminarsThe Network has extensive experience of planning, organising and hosting national, regional and local seminars that are primarily concerned with workplace language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) issues. What is the purpose of the seminars?Seminars are always customised and based on the interests and needs identified by the Regional Development team in the area. The seminars aim to disseminate relevant information on national, regional and local policy and initiatives and to share good practice in workplace LLN. They also provide a platform to raise awareness of workplace LLN issues and are an ideal opportunity for people to network. Examples of the diverse range of seminars The Network has planned include:
Who are the seminars for?The seminars are for LLN practitioners, co-ordinators, managers, employers,
human resource managers and other stakeholders involved in the delivery
of workplace LLN programmes. How are the seminars usually planned?The seminars often follow a similar programme, which consists of several
keynote speakers discussing issues surrounding the themes of the seminars
and several interactive workshops. There are always networking opportunities
