Half-Day Course - Occupational Standards in the Workplace

Aims:

• Provide an overview of the National Occupational Standards and the Framework for Achievement
• Explore how these relate to workplace Literacy Language and Numeracy skills
• Consider how these factors inform and support marketing LLN to employers

Objectives:

• Complete a group exercise identifying where LLN skills are situated
• Understand the interface between the NOS and the new Framework
• Use this information to inform development of marketing LLN skills to employers
