Using this Website

How does the website work?

There are several ways of using the Provider Toolkit.

If you want to learn about the whole workplace language, literacy and numeracy process, read the introductory pages within the Introduction section and then follow the links within the The Core Process delivery cycle.

You can also see a summary of the entire process of setting up, delivering and reviewing workplace LLN programmes in the process overview document.

However, if you are experienced in this field of work and are searching for a particular sample or guideline then go straight to the The Core Process and find the stage of the process you are interested in. For example, if you want a sample of an Education and Development Interview Questionnaire and guidelines on its use, go to: Core Process-> Conduct Organisational Needs Analysis -> Conduct Literacy, Language and Numeracy Needs Analysis. You will then find what you are looking for.

The Vault brings together a collection of resources related to reaching and learning which can be simply accessed as and when needed. It works in a similar way to the Core Process. Just click on the section of the learning cycle you are interested in and explore the resources attached.

You may also find the site map useful.

Trialling of the website and quality assurance

A good deal of work has gone into setting up the framework for the website and a large number of resources are already posted. However, the scope of Provider Toolkit is very broad and we would therefore appreciate help from practitioners in the field to share systems resources and fill in the gaps. We would also welcome submission of teaching and learning materials. The criteria for selection of teaching and learning materials to share or advertise are available to view on the Website Quality Assurance page. To submit systems resources or teaching and learning materials please use the Resource Contribution Proforma.
